The policies and procedures outlined in this document represent Spotto Driving School Gold Coast Pty Ltd’s commitment to delivering person-centred driving services.


We ensure that:

- All students are involved in making decisions and choices about the aspects of the driving lesson they receive.

- Each student's lesson is clearly documented, including their needs and consent.

- Driving lessons are delivered in an ethical, respectful, and safe manner that focuses on human rights.

- The driving instructors and staff promote the well-being, inclusion, safety, and quality of life of our students.

 

Our driving lessons will be delivered to all students with the following principles in mind:

- Respect and support for the students’ rights.

- Recognition and accommodation of the students’ preferences.

- Respect for the students’ gender, sexuality, culture, religion, and spiritual identity.

- Support for students to develop and maintain their driving knowledge.

- Identification of individual needs, particularly in relation to recognizing a student's capacity to develop their driving ability.

- Recognition by driving instructors and staff that students can communicate in various ways, including verbal communication, withdrawal, acting out, engagement and disengagement, aggression, excitement, despondency, and joyfulness.
